The plot

Early in movie young Dorothy Gale resents her drab existence on a Kansas farm. As she sings “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” she longs for a different life. When a tornado blows through, Dorothy is hit on the head and awakens in a strange, new land- Oz! There, she meets three new friends, and they set off to find the Wizard of Oz.
