This year visitors to Quebec City will have something extra to celebrate – the 350th anniversary of Notre-Dame de Quebec Basilica-Cathedral. This cathedral is the oldest in North America and boasts a dazzling interior. Walk around inside, and admire the works of art.
Fun in the snow
There’s more Christmas fun to be had outside Quebec City on the slopes of the Mont-Sainte-Anne resort. On December 22, Santa arrives via dogsled, and there are plenty of family-friendly activities throughout the week. You may want to choose a ski package - there are courses ranging from beginner to advanced level.
On December 29, on Le Massif de Charlevoix, there’s even more snowy fun going on after dark! Usually the trails on this mountain close at sunset, but not on this night! If you feel daring, put on a headlamp and go skiing in the dark – it’s a rush you won’t forget! At the bottom, you’ll be welcomed with campfires, live music and more.
Whether you’ve come to shop, see the sights or just have fun in the snow, you’re guaranteed to get into the holiday spirit here. If you’re looking for a picture-perfect Christmas experience, look no further than Quebec City.
