Harry ran to join the combat. But Mr. Golden pushed Blaise off the bridge.

Iris called, “Blow him out of the water, Harry,” and ran to help Blaise.

As they fought, Mr. Golden invited Harry to work for him. “You have potential. What I’m doing now is a drop in the ocean compared to what we could do together,” he said.

“Never,” said Harry.

“Is it that girl?” asked Mr. Golden. “Forget about her. There are other fish in the sea.”

“Go jump in a lake!” shouted Harry.

Harry kept his research job. And he and his friends continued to use their powers to defend people in need.
